What is involved in volunteering for Citizens Advice St Albans District?

Our volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds, helping us to deliver free, confidential, impartial and independent advice on a variety of topics, to local people.  Other volunteers come to us because they have a particular skill they would like to put to good use.  For example, experience in Law,  IT, Research, Fundraising, Web Design or Social Media marketing.   If you have time and skills you think would be of value to the service, please do get in touch, as there are many opportunities to get involved.

Volunteering with Citizens Advice St Albans can be a route into employment, or an opportunity to try something different.  Volunteering with us provides skills and experience that is valued by many employers.

All volunteers are supported and supervised throughout their involvement with Citizens Advice.  You’ll have plenty of opportunities to talk to, and work alongside, other volunteers.  We ensure that you are not put in situations that are beyond your abilities, and will work with you to help ensure that you find volunteering with us both challenging and rewarding.
